To promote accurate reportage and analysis of the
energy, environment, sustainability and related sectors from an African perspective.
AJERAP was conceptualized in Lagos, Nigeria in 2023 and fully established in 2024, after several engagements with members from Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.
The establishment of the association is based on the need for a platform that would enhance cooperation, harmonization of efforts, collaboration, and sharing of knowledge among African energy journalists and publishers.
It is also targeted at ensuring that members make their contributions toward the development of the continent.
